Please pray for my father, Harry who has dementia, diabetes, and several health issues. Pray for wounds on his back, that they heal and done get infected. Please pray for strength for my father, and that he continues to heal. Pray for my mother, Susan who is having a hard time emotionally. They have been married 60 years. Praying for me to do God’s will: Love others as myself. All my life I’ve struggled with autonomy and taking care of myself because I always had to sacrifice my heart, mind and being for my family and so, the Bible and its command looks a lot like that to me. However, I have deeply rooted trauma attached to that and it’s limiting my relationship with Jesus, my boyfriend who I’m planning to marry, and my church friends, church community, and I often feel drawn to really broken or really needy people, like mentally ill or most recently, an abused homeless girl 5 years older than me. I know I have a lot of resources from choosing wisdom even when my emotions, heart, feelings and desires lacked the love, joy and peace, and because of that, I have stocks, but, I haven’t finished college, have concerns about my life with paying rent, and I was also recently assaulted by an older man with authority over my housing. So now, I’m just trying to be more God-fearing and more earnest in loving Him.

Please pray fir me...and 2 close friends. I'm going through a double mourning of sorts. The following is what's killing me (depression). Why? I have 2 friends in separate rehabs...One is in stage 4 Parkinson's, and the other is an alcoholic that's just giving up on "living". The alcoholic, doesn't want to try to stay sober on his own anymore so, he thinks living in a nursing home is a he has left. Whereas the one with stage 4 Parkinson's, wants very much to live but because of his advanced condition, can no longer handle life on his own. (This one particularly breaks my heart because I love him dearly.) Anyway...Since neither will be returning to their apartments, I have the grim task of "redistributing" their belongings. I have some help with the one (Parkinson's), but not the other.So, thus my depression. I need to be able to be strong to get past this. Please pray for each of them, and say one for me too.
